While different stars took turns shining in every conference, it was Trisha Tubu who ruled the entire season and powered Farm Fresh’s remarkable rise in the Premier Volleyball League.

From being a rebuilding squad still trying to find its identity, the Foxies transformed into a legitimate contender behind Tubu’s steady brilliance and leadership throughout the 2026 campaign.

Because of her outstanding all-around performance, the 25-year-old opposite spiker was named Season Most Valuable Player during the 2nd Pilipinas Live PVL Press Corps Awards Night set on May 30 at Novotel Manila Araneta City in Quezon City.

Tubu topped the MVP race with an impressive weighted score of 171.868, which was based on 50 percent statistics, 30 percent media votes, and 20 percent team votes.

She led all MVP candidates with 108.868 statistical points collected across the PVL On Tour, Invitationals, and All-Filipino Conference. She also earned 50.4 media votes and 25.2 team votes to secure the league’s highest individual honor.

Former Cignal standout Erika Santos, now playing for Capital1, finished second with 157.98 total points after posting 93.48 statistical points, 59.6 media votes, and 19.8 team votes.

Last season’s MVP Brooke Van Sickle of Nxled placed third with 155.229 points. Despite leading all candidates in media votes with 64.8, she fell short after tallying 83.429 statistical points and 23.2 team votes.

Capital1 star Vanie Gandler came in fourth with 152.634 total points. Although she posted the lowest statistical points among the finalists due to missing parts of the season, she still received strong support from both the media and teams.

Despite the tight race among the league’s top stars, Tubu stood above the rest thanks to her consistency from start to finish.

She captured the Best Opposite Spiker award in all three conferences and remained Farm Fresh’s most reliable weapon even through roster adjustments and coaching changes.

During its first two years in the league, Farm Fresh struggled to gain traction and managed only one playoff appearance across six conferences. But with Tubu leading the way, the Foxies slowly built confidence and momentum.

That breakthrough finally came this season as Farm Fresh reached the playoffs in every conference, recorded its best elimination round finish during the PVL On Tour, and advanced to its first-ever semifinals appearance in the All-Filipino Conference.

Tubu may not have won every conference MVP award, but she proved to be the league’s most consistent force all season long — the player who helped turn Farm Fresh from an underdog into a serious contender.
