PASIG CITY — A veterinary clinic recently going viral on social media is not run by the city, the Pasig City government clarified. Contrary to some posts, the facility in the photos is a private clinic that recently opened in the area.

Pasig City’s own Veterinary Services Department is planning a new facility, but it is still under construction and not yet operational. Residents are advised to wait for official announcements from the city for details and updates.

The city has been actively promoting animal welfare and public health through programs such as free anti-rabies vaccinations, pet microchipping, and spay/neuter initiatives, encouraging responsible pet ownership and rabies prevention in the community.

For now, pet owners in Pasig will continue to rely on private clinics or city-run veterinary events for check-ups, vaccinations, and other services. The city promises more information on its upcoming veterinary facility once it is ready.
