Vice President Sara Duterte has departed for an overseas trip that will take her to Qatar, the United Kingdom, and The Netherlands, where she is scheduled to attend official engagements and meet with overseas Filipinos.

According to a statement posted on Duterte's official Facebook page, her itinerary includes a stop in Qatar, participation in a forum and a Filipino community (FilCom) event in the United Kingdom, as well as activities in The Netherlands. The visit aims to strengthen ties with overseas Filipinos and promote the Philippines' interests abroad.

The Office of the Vice President (OVP) said the trip combines official foreign engagements with personal activities and emphasized that no government funds will be used by the Vice President for the entire duration of the trip.

Despite Duterte's absence, the OVP assured the public that its operations will continue without interruption. The office said its disaster response mechanisms remain in place to respond to emergencies, while its programs and services will continue through its ten satellite offices across the country.

The Vice President has not yet announced the duration of her overseas visit.
