The latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey showed Vice President Sara Duterte earning the highest public satisfaction rating among the country's top government officials.
Based on the nationwide survey conducted from June 20 to 29, Duterte registered a net satisfaction rating of +31, classified by SWS as "good." The result came from 58% of respondents saying they were satisfied with her performance, while 26% said they were dissatisfied. Her rating also improved by two points from +29 in March 2026.
Senate President Sherwin Gatchalian debuted with a moderate net satisfaction rating of +18 in his first SWS survey since assuming the Senate leadership in June. Meanwhile, Speaker of the House Faustino Dy III received a neutral +8, an improvement from his previous +4, while Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo posted a moderate +10, up slightly from +9 in the previous survey.
Among the four officials, Duterte remained the strongest performer across most areas of the country. Her highest rating came from Mindanao, where she posted an excellent +84, followed by the Visayas (+36), Balance Luzon (+10), and Metro Manila (+3).
The survey also found Duterte's satisfaction rating rising among women and younger Filipinos, particularly those aged 18 to 24, while support dipped slightly among respondents aged 45 to 54. Her ratings also improved among college graduates, although they declined slightly among junior high school graduates.
For Gatchalian, the strongest support came from the Visayas, where he recorded a good +30 net satisfaction rating. His highest score by age group was among Filipinos aged 45 to 54, while respondents with little or no formal education gave him the highest approval.
Speaker Dy saw gains in Metro Manila and the Visayas, helping lift his overall rating to +8. His biggest increase came from respondents aged 25 to 34, although his score declined among those aged 55 and above.
Chief Justice Gesmundo also posted a slight improvement, with his strongest rating coming from the Visayas (+15). His satisfaction score increased notably among Filipinos aged 35 to 44 and among college graduates.
The non-commissioned SWS survey interviewed 1,200 adults nationwide through face-to-face interviews from June 20 to 29, 2026. It had a ±3% national margin of error and ±6% for each major geographic area.
