Vice President Sara Duterte joined the celebration of the third anniversary of the Office of the Vice President–Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao Satellite Office (OVP-BARMM SO), where she met with members of various sectors and led the distribution of assistance under the Relief for Indigents and Individuals in Crises and Emergencies (R.I.I.C.E.) program.

Held in Cotabato City, the event brought together senior citizens, persons with disabilities (PWDs), solo parents, and fisherfolk who received government assistance as part of the OVP's continuing outreach efforts.

During her address, Duterte urged the public to continue praying for communities affected by the recent powerful earthquake in Mindanao. She also reminded residents to remain vigilant and prepared for possible emergencies and natural disasters.

The Vice President likewise appealed to parents to encourage their children to prioritize education, emphasizing that learning remains one of the most effective ways to break the cycle of poverty and build a better future.

Beyond education, Duterte also highlighted the importance of respect and unity despite differences in religion, gender, and personal beliefs. She said fostering mutual understanding among Filipinos is essential in achieving lasting peace, progress, and development.

Expressing her gratitude, Duterte said she was delighted to return to the Bangsamoro region and thanked the people of BARMM for their warm welcome and continued support.

She ended her message by encouraging everyone to continue loving and serving the country "for God, for the nation, and for every Filipino family."
