Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy Z Flip7 Olympic Edition, a special smartphone created exclusively for athletes competing in the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026. As a Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic Partner, Samsung will provide the device to nearly 3,800 Olympians and Paralympians from around 90 countries, supporting them from life inside the Olympic Village to their biggest moments on the podium.

Designed to be more than just a phone, the Galaxy Z Flip7 Olympic Edition is built to enrich the full Games-time experience. Athletes will use it to stay connected with teammates and loved ones, manage daily schedules, and capture personal milestones throughout the competition. One of its standout roles will be during official podium ceremonies, where the Victory Selfie makes its Winter Olympics debut. For the first time, the feature will also expand to team sports, allowing athletes to document their wins together and share those moments instantly from their own perspective.

The device blends performance and symbolism. It features a dual rear camera system with a 50MP wide lens and a 12MP ultra-wide lens, AI-powered photo and editing tools, and an on-device Interpreter that works even without a network connection—useful in mountainous venues. Galaxy AI features like Now Brief help athletes stay on top of schedules, reminders, and wellness updates during the busy Games period.

Visually, the Olympic Edition stands out with a signature blue finish inspired by Italian azure and Milano Cortina 2026’s design language, paired with a gold metal frame symbolizing excellence and victory. Custom wallpapers and animations reflect winter sports and the marks left by blades on ice, celebrating each athlete’s journey and passion.

Beyond hardware, Samsung has preloaded the phone with essential apps and services tailored for athletes. These include digital passes and payments through Samsung Wallet, complimentary 5G connectivity via a 100GB eSIM, fitness and training tools, and platforms that support performance, mental health, and daily needs inside the Olympic and Paralympic Villages. A new Galaxy Athlete Card experience also encourages athletes to connect across sports and delegations, fostering a shared sense of community.

Samsung is also introducing the Victory Profile, a new storytelling initiative developed with select National Olympic Committees. Using portraits captured on the Galaxy S25 Ultra, the project highlights athletes’ personalities and passions beyond competition, offering them a personal keepsake from their Olympic journey.

The Galaxy Z Flip7 Olympic Edition, which is not for sale, will begin distribution across Olympic Villages in six host cities starting January 30. With on-site Samsung Open Stations providing technical support, the company aims to ensure athletes can focus on what matters most—competing, celebrating, and sharing their stories with the world.
