Team Liquid PH Unveils MPL S17 Roster As AeronnShikii Joins Amid Oheb Exit Clarification

Team Liquid Philippines is gearing up for MPL Season 17 with a refreshed lineup that blends homegrown talent and international firepower. Fans are excited as the Cavalry officially announces the players who will carry the team forward this season.
Leading the headlines is Indonesian import AeronnShikii, stepping in as gold laner following changes involving Kiel Calvin “Oheb” Soriano.
The MPL Season 17 roster features AeronnShikii in the gold lane, KarlTzy as jungler, Sanford in the EXP lane, Sanji in the mid lane, Jaypee and Santi handling roaming duties, and Daiki sharing gold lane responsibilities.
The roster reveal comes just days after the organization announced on February 24 that Oheb would be moved to the inactive roster, saying he would be stepping back from active competition but would remain a valued and integral part of the team.
The statement emphasized gratitude for Oheb’s continued commitment and presence within the organization.
But the situation took another turn.
On February 26, Calleja Law released a statement on behalf of Oheb clarifying that the gold laner had formally submitted his resignation from Team Liquid Philippines as early as February 6, 2026.
According to the statement, any suggestion that Oheb disappeared or failed to communicate with the team is inaccurate. It added that he deliberately chose to remain silent out of professionalism and respect for the team, his former teammates, and the league — allowing internal processes to move forward without public distraction.
The legal statement stressed that it was issued solely to correct the public record.
With AeronnShikii now stepping into the spotlight and questions surrounding Oheb’s departure clarified, all eyes are on Team Liquid Philippines as MPL Season 17 approaches.
