Thailand’s viral internet favorite Aon Somrutai is officially making moves in the Philippines after signing with Universal Records and GLXY Talent Management.

The social media sensation, best known for her famous catchphrase “THANK YOU, KATEYKI!”, was welcomed with an intimate dinner hosted by Universal Records and GLXY Talent Management at Lola Ote in Quezon City on Monday, July 13, 2026.

Aon recently arrived in Manila, where fans gathered at Ninoy Aquino International Airport to greet her. A video posted on her entertainment Instagram account showed the Thai creator happily posing for photos and interacting with supporters shortly after landing.

Her visit is more than just a quick stop. Aon is currently in the country for a magazine photoshoot and a guest appearance on “It’s Showtime.” According to local entertainment executive Grace Foronda, the trip marks “the beginning of her expansion into the local entertainment industry.”

Foronda also confirmed that Aon has officially partnered with Universal Records PH, opening the door for future projects and collaborations in the Philippines.
