Thunderbelles Brew A Stronger Lineup For 2026 PVL

After turning heads in the previous conference, ZUS Coffee isn’t slowing down anytime soon. The Thunderbelles are clearly serious about building on that breakthrough run as they load up for the 2026 Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference.
On Monday, ZUS Coffee officially unveiled a mix of fresh faces and proven stars joining the squad. New additions Cess Robles, Renee Peñafiel, and Karen Verdeflor are coming in, alongside veteran playmaker Chie Saet and fan-favorite Rachel Anne Daquis. Daquis recently became a free agent after her contract with Farm Fresh expired at the end of last season, giving ZUS Coffee the chance to land one of the league’s most experienced and marketable players.
“Let’s make it official! Welcome to the ZUS Coffee family, Karen Verdeflor, Ren Peñafiel, Cess Robles, Chie Saet, and Rachel Anne Daquis! Tuloy ang trabaho! Tuloy ang laban,” the team shared in a celebratory Facebook post.
Among the newcomers, Robles stands out as a major pickup. Coming off strong performances as one of Chery Tiggo’s top scorers, she’s expected to take on a bigger role and provide consistent firepower for the Thunderbelles. Peñafiel and Verdeflor, meanwhile, bring added depth and versatility to the wing and libero positions—key pieces for head coach Jerry Yee as he fine-tunes the roster.
With these moves, ZUS Coffee is sending a clear message: the last conference was just the beginning. For the Thunderbelles, the grind continues—and the fight is very much on.
