Vice President Sara Duterte remains the leading choice for president in the 2028 elections, according to the latest national survey conducted by WR Numero.
The March 2026 Philippine Public Opinion Monitor showed Duterte maintaining a strong lead over potential contenders, reinforcing her position as the early frontrunner in the upcoming race.
The survey, conducted from March 10 to 17, gathered responses from 1,455 Filipinos through face-to-face interviews nationwide.
Despite the clear preference for president, the vice presidential race remains wide open. The same survey found that most Filipinos are still undecided when it comes to choosing a vice president, with no candidate emerging as a clear frontrunner.
Analysts say the results reflect a familiar trend in early election polling, where presidential preferences tend to solidify earlier than those for the vice presidency.
