Concern quickly spread among fans after reports surfaced that Wally Bayola figured in a motorcycle accident in Camarines Sur—but the good news is, he’s now safe and recovering.

In a social media update, Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon—collectively known as TVJ—assured the public that Wally is now in stable condition. According to their post, the longtime “Dabarkads” is safe, with only minor injuries such as bruises and small wounds.

“Sa mga nangangamusta kay Dabarkads Wally, maayos na po ang kanyang kalagayan… maliban sa kaunting sugat at bukol,” the group shared, while also reminding everyone to always stay cautious.

The incident happened on March 29 in Barangay Bel Cruz, Lupi, Camarines Sur, where authorities responded to a motorcycle accident involving a 53-year-old male—later identified as Bayola.

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection – Lupi Fire Station, responders found the victim conscious but with multiple abrasions on both his upper and lower extremities. He also had limited movement in his right leg, raising concern about a possible injury.

Emergency responders immediately conducted an initial assessment, monitored his vital signs, and administered first aid, including proper wound care and stabilization. He was then carefully secured before being transported to Bicol Medical Center for further evaluation and treatment.

While the incident sparked concern among fans, the latest update confirms that Bayola is out of danger and recovering well.

For now, supporters are simply glad to hear that one of the country’s beloved comedians is safe—and taking it as a reminder that accidents can happen anytime, so staying alert on the road is always a must.
