Blackpink documentary to premiere on October 14

MANILA, Philippines – Fans of K-pop group Blackpink are in for a treat as they will get a closer look on the group's life as idols in an upcoming documentary dropping on October 14.

Titled Blackpink: Light Up The Sky, the documentary announced by Netflix Wednesday will follow the rise to fame of members Lisa, Jennie, Jisoo and Rosé since debuting in 2016.

It will also feature never-before-seen interviews and give a peek intothe group’s life as idols and their backstage events.

Members of the group will also become Netflix profile icons once the documentary premieres, the streaming platform said.

Blackpink: Light Up The Sky comes after the release of the group’s first full-length album on October 2.

The album includes two pre-released singles How You Like That and Ice Cream featuring Selena Gomez, which garnered great response from fans all over the world.
