Eric Fructuoso blusters a sardonic retort to viral tricycle pic

After a viral photo of him driving a motor-tricycle circulated online, making the public assume that he has taken to driving a tricycle to make ends meet during the COVID quarantine, actor Eric Fructuoso issued a tangential “denial” in a recent Facebook post.
Fructuoso explained that netizens were just thrown off by that schtick gag from left field.
“Hindi po totoong namamasada ako ng trike sa Naic, Cavite. Dine ako sa Lipa, Batangas namamasada mas malaki ang kita!
“Akalain mong P200 ispesyal hanggang Rowbeensons?” he posted sardonically yesterday, August 15.
The actor also pointed out that people should not underestimate a tricycle driver’s job: “Huwag niyo po ismall-in ang mga tricycle drivers.
“May kumpare akong trike driver sa BF Homes, at nung nag garage sale ako dati eh yung tropa ng mga kasamahan n’ya ang bumili ng mga Ralph Lauren at Ferragamo ko.
“Kaya nga ‘barya lang sa umaga’ dahil buo buo ang pera nila,” Eric quipped with an unmistakably wry twist.
