MANILA, Philippines – Comedian and actor Michael V has finished undergoing self-quarantine as he recovered from COVID-19.

In his latest Youtube video, Michael V, fondly known for his moniker Bitoy, thanked his fans for their support and prayers as he battled the coronavirus disease.

“Sa ngayon, tapos na yung quarantine ko at masasabi kong okay na, nakarecover na ako,” Bitoy said.

As a way of thanking the “superheroes” amid the pandemic, he illustrated a piece of artwork featuring medical frontliners.

The comedian also encouraged the public to show their support to frontliners who are risking their lives while battling the COVID-19 health crisis.

Tulungan po natin sila,” Bitoy said.

It was on July 20 when he announced testing positive for COVID-19.

In a previous video, Bitoy documented his life in quarantine since experiencing flu-like symptoms and loss of the sense of smell.
