Former Foreign Affairs Secretary Perfecto Yasay, Jr. passes away
Former Foreign Affairs Secretary Perfecto Yasay, Jr. passed away on Friday morning according to a post by the United Church of Christ in the Philippines. He was 73.
Yasay is the chairperson of the Philippine Christian University Board of Trustees. He was the Secretary of Foreign Affairs from June 30, 2016 to March 8, 2017. He also served as the Chairperson of the Securities and Exchange Commission during the Ramos Administration.
