Cebu City to close its cemeteries during Undas

Cebu City Mayor Edgardo Labella has ordered the closure of the city’s cemeteries from October 30 to November 3 to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Labella said the closure is necessary to prevent the expected influx and gathering of people inside the cemeteries.
As of September 9, the city has 9,740 confirmed COVID-19 cases, 360 of them active.
