2018 Asian Games Gold Medalist Yuka Saso clinched back-to-back wins in the 2020 Nitori Ladies Golf Tournament in Hokkaido Otaru Country Club last Sunday, August 30.
Saso won against Japanese golfer Sakura Koiwai by two strokes, and fired a one under-par 71 to bag her second title in this tournament after conquering the NEC Karuizawa Championship 2 weeks ago, where she scored a four-stroke victory worth the equivalent of PhP6.6 million.
Saso is also the first Filipino Japanese and LPGA rookie to rule the tournament.
Aside from winning back-to-back titles, Yuka has earned aggregate winnings equivalent to P16.5 million pesos from Japan LPGA tournament.
