PAGASA: TD “Ambo” maintains strength, may intensify into tropical storm
Tropical Depression “Ambo” maintains its strength while remaining almost stationary, PAGASA reported in its latest bulletin.
The center of TD Ambo was estimated at 385 km east of Surigao City, Surigao del Norte and has maximum sustained winds of up to 55 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 70 kph.
This will bring scattered light to moderate with at times heavy rainshowers during thunderstorms over Mindanao.
Ambo is forecast to intensify into a Tropical Storm within 24 hours.
